It's time to start planning your next great taste of Ontario adventure!

The Great Taste of Ontario is a collection of passports and stories to help you fall in love with Ontario again, and again.

Each season, you can download one of +80 passports to help guide your planning and inspire you to explore our big, BIG province. Then, when you’re ready, take the time to safely visit the growers and makers who make Ontario so special. Each time you check-in, you’ll be one step closer to redeeming some sweet Ontario-made prizes - while supporting communities across Ontario too!

Learn how it works below or skip ahead to download your first passport by hitting the big yellow button here.

How It Works

The way we explore needs to change

Plan Ahead
Keep Your Distance
Wear a Mask
Wash Your Hands
Be Kind

Keeping Ontario's people and places safe should be your top priority. Plan ahead and make reservations whenever - and wherever - possible. Keep your distance from those outside your household. When in public spaces, wear a mask and wash your hands often. The growers and makers in this program are meeting all Safe Travels Standards – and it’s been hard work. Be patient and kind when you visit.

Download, Redeem, Repeat

Each time you check-in to a location on a passport, you’re on your way to some sweet rewards! Check-ins can be redeemed for some sweet Ontario-made swag or donated to our charity partners to fight food insecurity across the province. Which is also pretty sweet.

Feast On

As this program grows, we're looking for more ways to support the restaurants doing the work to serve local food. Soon, you'll also be able to redeem your check-ins for gift certificates to Feast On Certified restaurants. Stay tuned!

Support Second Harvest

Second Harvest is Canada’s largest food rescue charity with a dual mission of environmental protection and hunger relief. Every time you redeem your check-ins for a Second Harvest ‘prize’, we’ll donate $25 to help them provide hunger relief across Ontario.

Donate to FoodShare

FoodShare’s goal is to inspire long-term solutions for a food system where everyone has access to affordable, fresh, nutritious food. Every time you redeem your check-ins for a FoodShare ‘prize’, we’ll donate $25 to help them reach the 260,000+ Torontonians they support each year.

Handmade Cheeseboard

Using only local hardwoods, Ottercreek Woodworks creates one of kind cheeseboards in Oxford County. Each piece of wood that is carefully selected for grains and knots.
