What’s your favourite seasonal ingredient?

Tomatoes! I love the pop of colour and sweetness of every shape and size.

What’s your drink of choice?

Before 5:00 PM, it’s black coffee. After 5:00 PM it’s Lug Tread.

The most underrated ingredient?

The Onion. It adds depth and complexity to a dish without you knowing it was ever there.

Favourite restaurant?

Oh, that’s a tough one. Anywhere local and affordable… But if I had to choose one,  two six {ate} on Preston Street, in Ottawa.

Off-duty, what are you most likely to be cooking at home?

At home, we like to experiment, from Grilled Octopus, sourdough bread to couscous.

What’s the best part of working with Ontario food and drink?

The best part of working with local ingredients is the variety of delicious goods we can grow in our backyard.

Why is Feast On important to you and your restaurant?

We Have been supporting the local community of farmers and growers for years. Feast On helps us get the message out to a wider audience and helps commit to a bigger picture.
