Meet Ontario’s New Signature Experiences

Ontario�s culinary landscape is getting some international exposure thanks to the Canadian Tourism Commission’s Canadian Signature Experiences collection.

The prestigious collection features unique and authentic Canadian experiences and will be advertising some of Ontario�s delectable destinations to a global audience. Experiences that have been featured in the past include Inniskillin Winery’s Extreme Canadian Icewine Experience and Long-Point Eco Adventures’ Wilderness Mushroom Foray.

Culinary explorers will be excited to hear that this year’s Ontario additions to the Canadian Signature Experiences family are are edible experiences! A�From Muskoka to Toronto, these iconic experiences invite visitors on a taste adventure.

Escape the City: Canoe Paddle and Beach Dining Adventure

“Never trust a skinny chef, or a fat tour guide” is what Scott Savoie, chef and tour guide A�likes to say. A�The aptly named Culinary Adventure Company launches people into all sorts of tasty experiences and this is no exception.

Foodies will work up an appetite paddling through Toronto Island’s tranquil bird sanctuary and scenic channels while learning about the natural evolution of the area from a professional canoe guide.
