Day One:
Begin your trip with a visit to the Peterborough Regional Farmers’ Market, where you can find fresh local produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods, and more. The market is open on Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm. Starting in May, you can also check out the outdoor farmers’ market every Wednesday.
After looking at all that scrumptious food, your tummy is probably rumbling for a filling brunch. A short walk up to Hunter Street, it’s time to visit Sam’s Place Deli. The attention to detail in every sandwich and side is what separates a sandwich from a Samwich. Day Two:
After recharging for the night at Elmhirst’s Resort and grabbing some great breakfast, it’s time to get back out and savour more of Peterborough & the Kawarthas.
First up for the day is Rolling Grape Vineyard.
