Canada Beef has launched its Burger it Forward program which puts great burgers into your belly and dollars into local food banks.
Eat a Burger, Bank a Meal and Feast On®
During the month of February, you can feel good every time you eat a burger! From now until February 29th, Canada Beef will donate the equivalent of one meal to Food Banks Canada with each featured burger purchased from a participating restaurant.
This campaign is running across seven regions: Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Prince Edward Island, Irving Big Stop Restaurants nationwide and of course, Ontario.
The extra cool part? In Ontario, the map features 29 restaurants and not one, not two but ELEVEN of them are Feast On® certified.
Shall we take a look?
Southeastern Ontario Burgers
Southeastern Ontario is represented strongly on the map with four Feast On® restaurants- three in Kingston and 1 in Picton.
In Kingston, Otter Creek Kitchen, who are known for their epic burgers are serving up their staple Otter Creek Burger using beef from their own farm complete with carmelized onions (drool) and AquaTerra right on the water is serving up their house burger which boasts an Enright Cattle Co. ground brisket and chuck patty, burger sauce, aged Wilton Cheddar, Quinn’s bacon and more all on a house milk bun.
Also in Kingston, Harper’s Burger Bar is going hard with their Waffle You Waiting for Burger made with a Canadian beef patty, double cheddar, bacon, a sunny-side-up egg (!!), rosemary garlic aioli, Canadian maple syrup and powedered sugar. Get this though- it’s all served between two Belgian waffles.
Just down the road in Picton, the folks at Waring House are showcasing their County Burger topped with Canadian cheddar, maple syrup and more all on a brioche bun.
Kitchener-Guelph Burgers
In the Kitchener-Guelph area, two spots are calling your name!
Park Eatery is serving up The Park Burger with beef from Y U Ranch- blended prime rib beef and pork belly patty, cheddar cheese, lettuce, onion, pickles, and special sauce.
Fancy a trip to Langdon Hall? Wilk’s Bar located on site is serving up a pan-roasted chuck and brisket patty, bacon molasses compote, smoked Mont Jacob cheese and Worcestershire mayo served on a toasted bun and topped with a gherkin pickle, red pepper and cocktail onion garnish. You deserve it.
Other Spots
Of course- we didn’t forget the rest of our Feast On® partners participating across the province! It’s time for a rapid-fire of delicious burgers you don’t want to miss!
