Georgina is Ontario’s (unofficial) Food Truck Capital

Located just an hour drive north of Toronto, Georgina encompasses the southern shoreline of Lake Simcoe and the surrounding rich farmlands. There are plenty of beaches and some of the best fishing around, plus the upcoming Field to Table event - a self-guided tour where farms open their doors to the public - but did you know that Georgina is Ontario's (unofficial) food truck capital?

Food trucks (or chip trucks) are a fixture of any Ontario road trip, and Georgina has plenty to choose from. Whether you're seeking poutine, burgers, hotdogs milkshakes, fish and chips, ice cream, or just about anything deep-fried (pickles!), you'll find it at one of Georgina's many spots. There are even friendly rivalries between them - like the punny (you know we love our puns) #goerginasignwars between Jax's Redbus and Ashley's Hungry Hut.
