With more stops being added to the Maple Trail every day, it’s the perfect chance to try some really unique tastes while taking part in a quintessential Canadian Taste of Place during Muskoka’s shoulder season when the area is less busy but equally beautiful.
We’re stoked to try the 5-course beer pairing menu at Clear Lake Brewing and the charred pork back ribs with Muskoka maple molasses BBQ sauce from 3 Guys & a Stove for starters.
For something a bit more interactive, we can’t wait to go on a sugar bush tour at Sugarbush Hill Maple Farm – trying their Maple Creemees are an absolute must because they’re made right on site and absolute delicious!
Another hit with the family would be the horse-drawn carriage ride through the woods at Back of Beyond Equine Centre – you can roast your own marshmallows over the fire while enjoying some maple hot chocolate!
Want to get a little excited yourself? See what else is happening. This list is growing every day.
