About Long Point Eco-Adventures

Long Point Eco-Adventures was born when two passionate mountain bikers – Mike and Dave – wanted to create a trail network that encouraged exploration & adventure in Norfolk County’s vast Carolinian Forest.
Little did they know that their passion for mountain biking and this Earth, would become much more than a trail for riders. The site quickly became a place to employ community members, keep them in the community and became an integral part of Norfolk County’s fabric.
Today, Long Point Eco-Adventures has ziplining, axe throwing, one of Ontario’s largest telescopes for their observatory program, kayak tours AND an on-site resort that offers an array of glamping suites, pods and a rental cabin that can sleep up to 17 people.
Every summer season, Hometown Brew Co. operates a sea can on site, where thirsty patrons can enjoy flights and on-tap craft beer; and is part of the new infrastructure coming this spring.

This year, Long Point Eco-Adventures has also partnered up with local Schuyler Brothers to restore a 13-room hotel in Port Dover, the Harbourview. This Air BnB style hotel will be an excellent addition to Port Dover’s booming tourism scene.
On-site, LPEA is crafting a new welcome centre for guests, and collaborating with three-up-and-coming Indigenous artists to complete a mural as a part of the Moccasin Identifier Project. Stay tuned for that this summer!
Along with all of these adventures, is the Marshview Patio & Bar. This local hotspot overlooks the stunning landscape of the Turkey Point Marsh. With an awesome view that never disappoints, all that the Marshview needed was Chef Shelli (and a Feast On® designation) to complete this perfect foodie scene.
The Marshview Patio and Bar Updates

In late April, LPEA is adding a brand new welcome centre that will include: a check-in area for all activity and accommodations; four full corporate boardrooms; AND a new home for the Marshview Patio and Bar. The new space will allow the resort & restaurant to remain open all year, complete with a full kitchen and bar with ten taps.
Having trained in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Chef Shelli is excited to take what she learned in school AND her love for Norfolk County to expand a menu that already highlights some of the county’s best ingredients.
Having grown up on a farm just down the road, Shelli knows many of the local producers and is excited to continue to highlight them! With a full team of year-round staff, visitors will be able to grab a meal on a beautiful summer evening, or cozy up inside in the winter for hearty soups and comforting dishes.

Classic plates like their Lake Erie perch tacos and their tasty burger made with local beef will still be on the menu, but this kitchen addition will allow Shelli and her team to experiment with new flavours for the upcoming season!
As a part of the expansion, there will be a two-storey brewery for Hometown Brew Co. to expand their tour offerings and beer production! Check out their Hazy Susan IPA, or their Hometown Southern Ale for a little thirst quench to go along with that meal we talked about.
Cheers to a Great Season!
Ready to check it out? Long Point Eco-Adventures is opening April 28th for the season. Be sure to head down, grab a meal and keep adventuring. See you on the marsh!
