Between the winery studded coastline, charming boutique inns and plethora of really good coffee spots – it’s easy to spend three beautiful days in Windsor-Essex. The hard part? Choosing where to start!
DAY ONE: KINGSVILLE & AREA
Make your first stop at Iron Kettle Bed and Breakfast to pick up some homemade goodness to go! Get crafty with an in-person class at one of Kingsville’s beautiful garden centres but leave plenty of time to shop the unique finds that line the shelves! Fill your belly with Best of Windsor Essex award winning Lake Erie Perch or a handcrafted burger served on the porch at Jack’s Gastropub. Stay above one of the local craft breweries along Main Street and be ready for another day of adventure!
DAY TWO: MUSEUMS + WINE
Start your day with breakfast in your room with some of the fresh baked goodness that you picked up yesterday – a full belly will be needed for a day of exploring. Stroll down to Lakeside Park and enjoy the cool breeze of Lake Erie as you enjoy some relaxation time along the waterfront. An afternoon tour of the Canadian Transportation Museum & Heritage Village will take you back in time! Pop in to Cooper’s Hawk Vineyards for a tasting flight of wine before venturing to North 42 Degrees Estate Winery for dinner on the 42nd parallel!
DAY THREE: BAKED GOODS + BEER
Bean 15 coffee will fuel your third day – grab a cup & some baked goods to go before heading over to Lee & Maria’s Market! Packed with farm-grown fruit & vegetables and shelves lined with local products, you souvenirs will certainly be tasty! Another amazing craft brewery awaits you in the afternoon for a flight before dinner at a local small batch distillery, home to great food and even more delicious craft cocktails! Make sure to save room for a Turtle Sundae, a sweet treat to end your day at The Parlour.
