The Cellar Source was established in 2011. Angie and MJ acted as local wine agents, working to educate consumers about, promote and sell Ontario Wine. These two are also sommeliers, certified by the International Sommelier Guild. In 2022, they surrendered their agents license and applied for a liquor sales licence (on-premise) so that they could open Decanter, a companion shop, wine bar and event space focussed on all-Ontario products, located in Wellington, Prince Edward County where they live and play. Decanter PEC opened officially on July 1, 2022. Angie and MJ promote, sample and sell all-Ontario wine, beer, cider, mead, spirits and many local artisan goodies including honey, mustard, crackers, jams, jelly, chocolate, chips, kitchen & entertaining gifts, glassware and more. The tasting menu changes weekly to allow people to explore new wines and they provide educational events for consumers on the local products sold and sampled in the shop & bar.
