ITINERARY/CONTENT SUBMISSION PORTAL
Please ensure you hit the blue 'Submit Now' at the end of the form. A confirmation message will appear if your submission has been received correctly.
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
The content should include approximately 5 stops per day.
Businesses featured should be represented on the culinary tourism value chain and appeal to the food focused traveller (see infographic)
Content may feature businesses not featured in the regional GTOO passport, but those businesses should still meet the Business Inclusion Criteria whenever possible.
To ensure a good user experience, we suggest that at least 2 of businesses featured in itinerary content also be featured in the passport (to drive downloads for the passport)
Food and wine lovers, who might consider themselves connoisseurs. They are always on the look-out for a hidden gem.
Knowledge seekers who are looking for new and innovative art, theatre, film and music.
Serenity now! These travellers are interested in personal wellness, in its many forms (whether that’s yoga, meditation, fitness, or even a day at the spa).
Ontario is known for its natural beauty and these travellers want to cycle, hike and canoe it all.
To them a music festival isn’t just about the bands, it’s a euphoric experience to connect others. They don’t mind spending too much on water and rainy weekends outdoors.
The call of the wild takes these travellers outdoors. Angling and hunting, they love the challenge for their sport.
Have you submitted your Passport Data Collection Template? Please do so here before submitting content.
Itineraries and Content will be published as blog posts on OntarioCulinary.com and promoted through Google Ad Words and social media. It will also be used to frame trips for influencers in 2021 and inspire the content plan for the Globe & Mail Special Reports being published throughout the course of the campaign. We encourage you to also publish this content to your own channels to amplify the campaign!
Each Destination Partner will have the opportunity to contribute a maximum of 3 pieces of content ( in the form of itineraries, guides, lists, etc.) per season; ideally one in each category. The campaign will span 6 seasons, beginning Fall 2020 and ending with Winter 2021. That means that each partner can contribute a maximum of 18 itineraries total to the campaign.
