When you follow the fringe of wildflowers along the path to a large white tent with elegantly set tables, you’ll know you’ve landed somewhere special. An intersection of the the Akwesasne and Francophone Ontario, Springfield Farm is the perfect place to celebrate a cultural mosaic.

Following two consecutive sold out events in 2021 and 2022, this year’s Field & Feast will be no different – guests looking to snag tickets need to act fast. This year’s feast will be meticulously prepared by two renowned chefs, local to the area: Chef Jordan Phillips of Akwesasne/Cornwall and Chef Margaret McCormick of Glengarry.

True to the Field & Feast name, guests can expect a genuine farm to fork experience, focusing on the local, the seasonal, and the sustainable. “I like food that is close to the earth,” says Chef McCormick. “I’m excited to help showcase the local ingredients that we will be utilizing, giving everyone’s hard work a moment to shine.”

The tasting menu brings together many local producers and traditional Mohawk fishers to present food that celebrates nature and heritage. “The SD&G area has an abundance of beautiful local growers,” says Chef Phillips. “We’re fortunate to have so many hard-working businesses so close by.”

Add in Bushmills Irish Whiskey cocktails created and served by the National Brand Ambassador Brennon Stephenson and foot-stomping music provided by the River Mohawk Band, you’ve got yourself some pure down home fun!

To top it all off, the event acts as a fundraising initiative for Baldwin House, supporting women and children escaping domestic violence.
