So what does a weekend in Elora look like for us? Well of course, we’re checking into the Elora Hotel Mill and Spa to be pampered for the evening and to enjoy exsquisite fine dining based around the seasons with many ingredients sourced right from their own garden.
On Saturdays during May-October, we’re all about taking in the Elora Farmers’ Market, taking a stroll by the water and of course popping in and out of the charming shops selling gourmet goodness like Fromagerie Evelyn, Grand Gourmet and more. Of course, before heading out of town, a trip to the Elora Distillery is in order.
Looking to love a little on Mother Nature? No worries, a trip to the Elora Gorge is a timeless classic for hikers and offers stunning scenery.
By evening, head into Fergus for a stay and delicious dinner at Breadalbane Inn where hearty classics like shepherd’s pie, schnitzel and more await. Feeling more like Italian fare? Check out the Gente Urban Eatery right on the water or The Golden Coconut for a mix of Thai and Vietnamese.
