You feta believe it, the curd on the street is true. Big Cheese Days are back EVERY SATURDAY IN MAY!

Experience all the great tastes of the Oxford County Cheese Trail, plus special tastings, promotions and contests at cheesemakers, mongers and restaurants across Oxford County. This is your chance to try limited-release cheeses, curious menu items featuring the very best local dairy and of course, take home some real gouda cheese.

New this year, check in on your Great Taste of Ontario passport to earn points towards even more delicious, all-Ontario prizes! You won’t want to miss these brand-new tastes along the Oxford County Cheese Trail.

Red Dragon Dairy is one of the newer dairies in Oxford County and boasts a farm store that sells plenty of Welsh products alongside local specialties.

Here’s a few things we’re excited about:

Gunn’s Hill Artisan Cheese has a new version of their Oxford Harvest cheese that has been flavoured with Za’atar. This spice blend comes from Middle Eastern cooking traditions and is often used on hummus, in bread, on meats and vegetables and in labneh- a spicy cream cheese.

Stay tuned for a return of a fan-fav at Upper Thames Brewing Company: two new versions of their Making Waves sour and their Supersonic Purple Tart Pale Ale!

Habitual Chocolate is busy getting ready for Easter! It’s a great place to stop in for all your bunny-inspired treats!

Heading through Ingersoll on the Cheese Trail? The March menu at The Olde Bakery Cafe is in full swing with delicious weekly specials. Check it out.

Red Dragon Dairy is now selling its fresh pasteurized sheep milk in-store in one-litre jugs!

The harvest brunch at Thames River Melons features melons grown right on the farm, in season!

There’s also plenty of experiences you can book to take full advantage of all the whey-cool activities happening in the region. Why not make a weekend of it?
