With 2 Blokes Cider on the menu, The Local is just that—your go-to for mouthwatering eats and a perfectly chilled pint of Ontario craft cider. Their cozy atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to unwind as the students of Centennial College cook you an epic lunch. Try the Ocean Wise Seared Salmon or the Mushroom Mapo Tofu with sichuan pepper, balck bean mushroom sauce and tofu for a delightful pairing.

6. Picnic Snack Bar

Nothing says laid-back vibes like Picnic Snack Bar, where Tawse Winery cider flows as freely as the good times. Their funky decor and casual vibe are the cherry on top of a perfect outing. Dusted with old world charm, it’s a great spot to meet with friends for a drink and small bites like their lamb neck croquetas, cheese and charcuterie or oysters.

7. Common Stove

Rustic charm meets Woodfolk Cider at Common Stove. The wood-fired dishes pair beautifully with their refreshing cider options. Grab a seat to dinner and a show as this restaurant revolves around a large wood-fired stove at centre stage. Watch as Chef Ben Kersley and his team cook up something truly magical.

South Eastern Ontario

8. Maison Maitland Cooking School & Villas

BUSL Cider and French-inspired cuisine make a dreamy pairing at Maison Maitland Cooking School & Villas. Their intimate dining experience is perfect for a romantic evening. This spot happens to be the exception on our list because it isn’t technically a restaurant.

Under Chef Cynthia Peters, Maison Maitland is the perfect spot for an overnight getaway where you can stay on site, take a cooking class and enjoy the grounds of a beautiful Palladian style manor on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. While you’re there, be sure to grab a sip from BUSL Cider, made just a half hour away on a beautiful farm property.

9. Waring House

Historic charm and County Cider Company’s signature sips make Waring House a standout stop in Prince Edward County. Be sure to explore their lush gardens during your visit or cozy up in the on-site pub if the weather is chilly (preferably with that aforementioned cider in hand). Feel like making it into a trip? No worries, you can stay the night here too!
