WindsorEats launches Windsor-Essex’s first cannabis experience

Build the pipe of your dreams in the WindsorEats Be A Pipe Maker Experience.

“With the recent legalization of cannabis still new and brick and mortar shops yet to enter into our daily lives, we filt a sophisticated, fun cannabis experience without actually touching cannabis would be a great way to introduce the cannatourism opportunities to Windsor Essex,” explains Adriano Ciotoli, co-owner of WindsorEats.

Leadership and blazing a new path isn’t new for WindsorEats. The tourism business has continually innovated and has been named the Best Small-Medium Sized Tourism Business in Canada by the Tourism Industry Association of Canada as a result of their efforts.

Participants in the Be A Pipe Maker Experience will work alongside world-renowned corn cob modifier, Riccardo Santia, as he guides them through creating a one of kind, handcrafted corn cob pipe. Each pipe is finished with a “secret sauce recipe” that makes the pipe look like a hundred year old colonial era collectible.

Throughout this experience Riccardo will guide participants through a hands on process of creating a unique work of folk art. This Master of the Cob will be at your side from picking the size of cob and bamboo shank to staining and creating a look that is uniquely your own to use for either tobacco or cannabis.

Participants will be working hands-on with power tools in an active woodworking shop. While no cannabis is provided as part of the experience, the pipes can be used for either cannabis or tobacco.
