Take a few minutes, inhale and look at this photo. Doesn’t it just make you feel calm?
The folks at South Pond Farms have opened up up their hearth and their property to winter visitors. What was once only open to workshop go-ers and wedding guests can now be enjoyed Thursday to Sunday during their lunch (sometimes served by campfire!) services – 11:00am – 3:00pm.
Danielle and her kitchen team have a standing menu of fresh, homemade sandwiches but there’s always some surprises tucked into the mix. You can also toast marshmallows or baked goods over coals for dessert!
How delicious does this grilled cheese with roasted veggies look? It’s one of many lunch options now available at the farm!
If a more curated experience is more your style, they’ve also just published their winter event calendar. On the agenda is bread-making in their wood-fired ovens, wreath making just in time for the holidays and the most perfect holiday market. They’re calling it “Weinachtsmarkt”.
On the agenda – other than the snowshoe trails and scenery – are hot festive drinks, fireside meals, a pretzel bar (!) and plenty of winter games for the whole family. It all happens December 1st at the farm.
We’ll be at the farm Friday, November 16th for lunch. Follow our Instagram stories for a sneak peak at what’s on the menu!
