The Ontario Maple Syrup Producers Association (OMSPA) is a producer based organization formed in 1966 to represent maple syrup producers across the province. We represent a long history of sugar making in the province and are proud to carry on with the traditions associated with one of nature’s greatest natural sweeteners – the making of maple syrup when the sap begins to flow.   OMSPA is the official voice of sugar makers in the province. We currently represent over 400 “sugar makers” from all across the province, who are committed to producing a high quality product for consumers to enjoy.

The Ontario Commercial Fisheries Association represents an industry that has been a part of the history, culture and economy of our part of the world for a very long time. There was a recognizable commercial fishery before Europeans colonized what we now call Ontario. Fishing was one of the first industries established in new communities that sprang up as Europeans pushed up the Great Lakes in the early years of Canada’s founding.   We are proud of our history and proud of our modern role as purveyors of nutritious, wholesome fish products sustainably harvested from Ontario’s waters.
