CREEMORE KITCHEN Creemore, ON The Scoop: While they’re got over a dozen rotating flavours in their bakeshop, we’ll crazy for the summer strawberry ice cream made with local duck yolks and double cream! Want a little something extra? Make it a sundae!
LANGDON HALL Cambridge, ON The Scoop: Chef Jason Bangerter makes whimsy with his virgin canola sorbet topped with foraged herbs and garden trimmings. It’s a savoury ice cream to be sure, but we can’t hold that against it. It’s delicious!
RINO’S KITCHEN & ALE HOUSE Windsor, ON The Scoop: Less a scoop and more a sandwich, Rino’s serves up the be-all-end-all of ice cream sandwiches. It’s a homemade lemon curd and ginger snap frozen custard sandwich, served with a warm blueberry dipping sauce.
THE RESTAURANT AT THE BRUCE HOTEL Stratford, ON The Scoop: If you want to take your ice cream game up a notch, tuck into the Pistachio ‘Napoleon’ at this Stratford staple. It’s got goat milk lavender gelato and gnerus sprinkling of toasted pistachios!
