We know that food tourism is a recipe for economic development success.
OCTA’s Ontario Food Tourism Summit is your opportunity to significantly engage with other food tourism stakeholders like chefs, business owners, artisans, regional development officers and other hospitality professionals from across the province and the country.
This year’s theme is ‘Perfect Pairings’ — we’ll be exploring how local food and drink helps build stronger relationships and tell better stories across all sectors. Whether it’s sports tourism, heritage tourism, event management or restaurant pop-ups; pairing your project with local food will help grow your business, your brand and build better relationships.
See you at the Summit!

One of our favorite parts of the annual Ontario Food Tourism Summit is the 10am break. Every year, we look far and wide for amazing, locally focused producers doing unique things to showcase to our delegates. This year, we’re throwing a ‘Jam-Jam” celebrating the people preserving Ontario’s amazing fruit, herbs and florals. Ontario preserves will be paired with handmade breads, scones and crackers baked by some lovely Ontario bread bakers.
WHAT IS A JAM-JAM ANYWAY? Well, it’s pretty simple really! Think loads of beautiful, small batch jams — made of the best Ontario products, paired with a mountain of baked goods. It’s a way for our attendees to relax and enjoy the bounty of our province between speakers and sessions. We’re so excited to be jammin’ alongside the fine folks from Kitten & The Bear, Manning Canning, and Spade & Spoon!
The Summit is made possible by a slew of supportive partners. Thanks guys, we couldn’t do what we do without you.
