51 new craft breweries opened in Ontario last year; fifty one. That’s not even accounting for the 100 planned breweries slated to open in coming year.
We want to visit them all. After all, they all have something unique to offer. From terroir driven brews to experimental sours, there’s so much cool stuff brewing in this province. Here are the 5 breweries we’re most excited to check out this year!

WHITE WATER BREWING CO.
Founded by three good friends in 2011, White Water opened their doors in the heart of Cobden, a stones throw from Muskrat Lake, last year. If that video isn’t enough to get you there… we don’t know what is!

Stray Dog Brewing Co.
Like all good beer stories, this one starts out with two guys, a girl, and a lot of homebrew consumed in a basement. Their taproom is slated to open in 2017, but it’s their ‘Pounders Club’ that peaked our interested!

Bitte SchAn Brauhaus
This tiny New Hamburg based brewery opened it’s doors in the historic Imperial last year. They are also one of 5 Ontario breweries to sell their beers in Crowlers!

Etienna Brule
There’s a new line of organic beers on the Ontario market — and their beers come in adorable stubbies. We’re pretty excited to try their 5W30 Milk Stout described as having chocolate milkshake notes!

Parsons Brewing Company
Proudly stating that it takes a whole village to raise a brewery, these guys had us hooked on first insta-glance. They use hops from theirCountyneighbour, Pleasent Valley Hops and have a brewery dog named Indy.
What pints are you excited to pour this year? Let us know!
