Louie’s Pizza of the Month for May

A new month means a new pizza at Louie’s Pizza and Pasta. This Fire & Smoke pizza features smoked brisket, sweet fried onions, roasted red peppers, garlic sauce, Mountainoak Smoked Gouda, mozzarella, chipotle, scallions and crispy friend jalapenos.

Leaping Deer Adventure Farm Open!

One of the things we love most about spring is the opening of Leaping Deer Adventure Farm’s country store, bakery, green room cafe and John Deere museum. Open Thursday through Sunday, we highly recommend popping in for an apple pie bread grilled cheese or their amazing onion rings!

Experience the Cheese Trail

Oxford County has just launched a series of signature experiences and three have upcoming dates along the Cheese Trail:

  • Affinage 101: Experience the art of aging cheese with Gunn’s Hill Artisan Cheese’s brand new experience (it even ends with fondue)! 
  • Truffle Camp: Craft a dozen artisan truffles with the Queen of Ganache at Chocolatea. 
  • Tree to Table: Explore the woods, dine on local fare and craft your own charcuterie board in the woodshop with David Schonberger of Ottercreek Woodworks. 

Mountainoak Cheese releases now Quark

In the last few months, Mountainoak Cheese has developed a new product! Quark is a soft cheese but it tastes like Greek Yogurt and is great for baking or eating by the bowl! Available in strawberry, blueberry, maple or plain. 

Grilled Cheese Lunch n’ Learn 

Learn all about the unsung Queens of Cheese with Curator Scott Gilles AND enjoy a grilled cheese sandwich. What could be better? This event is April 26th, call to book your spot!
