The 2014 Ontario Culinary Tourism Summit is fast approaching! Entitled ?Growing Communities: Getting to the Core of Culinary Tourism, this years summit has us heading up to Ontarios apple country: The Blue Mountains.
Weve lined up a roster of culinary tourism super stars to share their wealth of experience and knowledge. Over the coming weeks, well be profiling these taste makersplus their successes, lessons and best practices. So without further ado, meet our first taste maker!
TASTE MAKER: DANIELLE GOLDFINGER
Danielle Goldfinger has worked in the non-profit food sector for 7 years at The Stop Community Food Centre, Not Far From The Tree and currently, Community Food Centres Canada.
Shes the creator of some of Torontos most interesting food events, including The Stops Night Market and Two Islands Weekend and has been involved with the Toronto Underground Market and City Cider.
Have we peaked your interest? We thought so. Danielle is the behind the scenes wizard that makes these events the successful promotional–and revenue generating–vehicles that they are.
Hear her talk about what makes a good event and how she works her magic at the 2014 OCTA Summit in The Blue Mountains.
What does Danielle do when she’s not planning your next weekend adventure? Well, we asked — and funny enough, in her spare time, she does not attend events.
