What’s your favourite seasonal ingredient?

I love growing my own lettuce so when that starts coming in I’m a pretty happy camper… I absolutely love giant bowls of salad literally like a family size bowl just for me.

What’s your drink of choice?

That’s a definite tie between alchemy kombucha and any flavour of the farm juice company!

Most underrated ingredient?

Maybe parsley it’s not for just garnish I love using it in many different ways … I love the freshness it adds!

Favourite restaurant?

It’s tough to narrow down one, but I love the culinary experience at Langdon hall – chef Jason Bangerter is one my absolute favs!

Off-duty, what are you most likely to be cooking at home?

Veggie ramen with a load of fresh seasonal veg and fresh made buckwheat noodles!

What’s the best part of working with Ontario food and drink?

The community ties, the amazing farmers, producers, chef and consumers that I get to cross paths and sometimes work with! It’s the absolute best!

Why is Feast On important to you and your restaurant?

Our mission is to make local sustainable products using 95%+ Ontario ingredients, so if that means reimagining a cabbage roll to have barley instead of rice because it grows in Ontario then that’s the commitment we make. It’s not only about making delicious Ontario made foods, but educating our community about how important is we build a relationship back to local food. Feast is a great tool that connects us all so we can continue to eat,educate and grow the Ontario culinary community for the Ontario market, helping to bring diversity in Ontario made foods!

I don’t have much of a sweet tooth unless you are talking about those little mochi ice cream balls of heaven. I might be able to dust a few of those!
