Who are some of your favourite Ontario artisans, producers, or farmers? Kind Organics, Bizjak Fruit, Spade and Spoon, Forbes Wild Foods, Wheelbarrow Farms, Chocosol + many others.
What’s Ontario’s most underrated ingredient? Rhubarb.
Favourite seasonal ingredient? Peaches, pumpkin and corn (non-GMO of course).
Favourite lake fish? Trout.
All-time favourite Ontario drink? Mill St. Organic.
Favourite Ontario restaurant? Ruby WatchCo.
What do you cook for yourself at home? Simple fresh meals, balanced with grain, protein, and lots of vegetables. Lots of delicious sauces and dips on hands to flavour our meals.
What’s the best part of working with Ontario food and drink? The versatility! The creativity, the variety. Savouring each seasonal ingredient as special and limited, and therefore valuing and frequently using those ingredients.
What we’re dying to try? While we love her Spring Roll Style Collard Wraps, we’re currently crushing on her salted maple brownies!
