Kick off the summer season with some liquid gold at Kurtz Orchards and Culinary Farm in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Enjoy some of the best craft brews, gourmet honey and food that the Niagara region–and beyond–has to offer!
Not only is this sweet and sticky event a great way to take in the best the bees have on offer, it’s also the official launch of Kurtz Orchards hop growing program. Kurtz will be the first farm in the Niagara Region to grow hops.
The brewery line-up is looking pretty sweet for the weekend and includes Great Lakes Brewery from Toronto, Oast House from Niagara, Highlander Brew Company, Steam Whistle from Toronto and Beaus All Natural from Vankleek Hill.
As if the line-up of tipples and tastes wasn’t enough to satiate your palate, there’s also a four-course beer, honey and hop inspired farm-to-table dinner hosted by Chef Stephen Treadwell of Treadwell Farm to Table Cuisine ($100/pp).A The menu will feature the best of Niagara cuisine and Ontario Craft Beer, served family-style under a canopy of pear trees. The menu will be unveiled the night of the event.
