There is just one week left until the third annual Grey County Chefs Forum.
Farmers and producers in the region agree on how well the Forum is working for them and are back again on March 4th, 2013!
A steering committee of Grey County farmers and chefs have met regularly to promote local farmers and producers under the mentorship of internationally recognized Grey Highlands� chef, Michael Stadtlander.
In 2012 the first two Grey County Chef�s Forums were organized for local farmers to meet chefs and retail buyers from Grey County and beyond–including the GTA.
?Traditionally farmers have had difficulty reaching chefs and buyers and chefs have had trouble connecting with growers,�� says Stadtlander.
The Forum solves that problem for both buyers and sellers of local food.
While there is a waiting list of producers from outside the Grey County who are welcome once all of the Grey A�farmers are on board, as a Grey County farmer, if you have not signed up yet there are tables left at $10.
Chefs, restauranteurs and retailers are welcome from everywhere and cost to attend, as always is FREE!A� We just need you to register in advance to be sure you can have a hassle-free admittance�
Where is the forum happening? Maxwell Community Hall, 408014 County Road 4 in Maxwell, Ontario. A�Doors open at 5:30 pm and remain so until 8 pm.
