MEET THE CHEFS
Chef Brad Watt
Publican House Brewery & PubChef Brad lived in PEI for 16 years. He’s no stranger to small(ish) towns. He left a brief stint to attend Humber College and then work in Toronto, but eventually returned to the Island. Later returning to Peterborough. In partnership with the brewery, he and his wife Katie opened The Publican House five years ago and haven't looked back
Chef Tyler Scott
Rare EscapeTyler Scott was born and raised in Peterborough, ON. From a very young age he always knew that he wanted to be a chef. His parents recall him watching the food network as a child, always excited by food. Throughout high school and college he was determined to make his small town dreams a reality.
Chef Lisa Dixon
Blackhoney CaféAs the owner of Blackhoney Café for over 17 years, Chef Lisa has studied at the University of Ottawa, Algonquin College, and Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa Culinary Arts Institute. "The main reason for coming to the Kawarthas," she says, "is because per capita, this place has better food than anywhere else!"
