The Lancaster Smokehouse opened its doors on November 28th 2011 with a simple vision – keep it local, keep it fresh and ensure its homemade! We started from humble roots – learning the craft off BBQ Catering and competition BBQ in the 1990’s and 2000’s, we finally opened a small laid-back takeout joint called Hog Tails BBQ in 2009. Hog Tails featured Southern-style BBQ, po’ boys & seafood mains, and niche menu items with live blues music. Since then, we’ve expanded to The Lanc, and have grown to become the ‘go-to spot’ for mouth watering Southern BBQ and amazing experiences.
With our famous Lancaster Food Truck we deliver right to our customers’ doors while also offering catered events on-site at the Lanc Loft upstairs, as well as at your venue of choice! The launch of our new Lancaster Bakehouse has been a great success through the creativity and culinary skills of Master Baker Martha Borys! It's all good!
