We all need to eat, and eating out at a restaurant is a lot more fun when our kids are excited (or at least willing!) to join us. Having kid-sized options, or kid-friendly menu items definitely helps.
Introducing your kiddies to local food early and teaching them about the value of our food system is important. They’ll grow up to support their farmers just like you do. Take them to farmers’ markets, hit up a farm on the weekend and definitely choose a Feast ON restaurant when dining out. To help you out, here are some of our favorite Feast ON options just for kids:
For the kid who loves pizza, try the Wood-Fired Cheese Pizza on the kids menu at The Combine in Norfolk.
Keep it simple at 3 Guys and a Stove in Huntsville, with options like apple slices, celery sticks with peanut butter, veggie noodle soup, or a pita pizza.
If your kid likes a good burger, try the Napoleon Combo over at Burger Revolution in Belleville. It’s kid-sized, and comes with fries and a juice box!
For pint-sized version of classic mains, like Chicken Caesar Salad, Gemelli Pasta or Sirloin Steak, check out Elements on the Falls, in Niagara Falls.
Don’t just stop there — We’ve heard that introducing your kids to ‘weird’ foods early will help raise adventurous eaters!
