If you are looking to serve delicious bites at your party, the gals at Earth + City have you covered. Offer up their tasty kale sunflower seed pesto with homemade beetroot dill juice pulp crackers. Another option are the fresh spring roll wraps with sweet walnut sauce and sunflower sprouts. As an added bonus, your vegan and gluten free friends will be able to indulge since all of the Earth + City offerings are vegan and gluten-free.
The catering menu at Hearty Catering changes with the season, allowing your guests to enjoy the bounty of Ontario! With a large selection of options, you can serve a selection of hors d’ouevres, salads or opt for a formal sit down meal. One of our favourites is the purple, green and yellow string bean salad with Niagara wine vinaigrette.
The Quirky Carrot
Julia Graham and her team at The Quirky Carrot work with each customer to create a custom menu for their event. Whether you are hosting a small gathering or a corporate function, these folks have you covered! If we were curating a menu we would start with a local cheese platter and then serve the pork loin stuffed with balsamic red wine soaked prunes and toasted pine nuts. Just the hearty and warming dish we want this time of year.
Did someone say company paella party? We’re in! Pimenton Catering will even cook the paella in front of your guests to really blow their minds. Chef Jose Arato also creates an amazing selection of tapas including goat cheese & leek tartlets and herb stuffed mushroom caps.
Thyme & Again
This Ottawa-based food shop and caterer sources fresh local ingredients for each dish. With an extensive list of offerings for any gathering, we can’t take our eyes off their local cheese and charcuterie platter. Some highlights are the house smoked duck and their pickled vegetables.
Executive Chef Brad Long leaves no stone unturned with his perfectly curated catering menus. Everything is made from scratch using fresh, local and organic ingredients. Belong Catering can prepare an array of options from passed canapA�s to a plated meal. This time of year, the canapA�s that warm our soul (and bellies) include the squash soup shooters with Dillon�s white rye cream and the bison tartar with crispy shallots.
Calling all northern Ontarians! Radical Gardens catering menu boasts a gourmet mini sandwich platter, canapA�s, charcuterie and our favourite: a bruschetta bar featuring a selection of dips, bruschetta, and spreads with local artisanal cheese and a curated selection of cured meats. Chef Brianna Humphrey can also put together lunch and dinner menus for a group of any size! Another fun fact: The Radical Gardens farm grows and sells a variety of organic produce and they offer a CSA program in the spring.

Emily Leonard and Beth Milne, the gals behind Casero Kitchen Table and Taco Bus, are passionate about homemade local food! They emulate flavours from their travels to Mexico using Ontario ingredients — and they do a great job of it. For your next gathering we suggest ordering one of their nacho platters. With a choice of brisket, chicken, pulled pork, sweet potato or beet, YOU CANNOT GO WRONG. And if you happen to be in Owen Sound, pop by their restaurant for one of the feature cocktails.

We opt for a Royal City with rapini, fennel sausage, garlic and chili flakes or the Apple & Bacon, a white pizza with smoked cheddar, caramelized onions and fried sage. For dessert, be sure to order a few of their seasonal pies.
