On Saturday October 4, 2014 the 12th Annual Kawartha Farmfest returns to Kawartha Lakes.
It’s an opportunity to celebrate the fall harvest by touring 16 farms, markets and attractions as a picturesque self-guided tour. Immerse yourself in the fall atmosphere as you tour local farms, enjoy fresh-from-the-farm flavours. Get firsthand experience of what farmers do on their farms and why they do it.
From pumpkins to horses to cattle and more, Kawartha Farmfest sites are open from 10 am to 4 pm. Participants can travel to as many sites as they like throughout the day. Drop in for a quick tour, or stay for an extended visit.
New to the program this year is Blueberryfest at Wilson�s Fresh Blueberries. The Wilsons have been building their field stock of blueberry bushes for a number of years, and they’re ready for the picking!

Admission stickers are only $5 for adults and children under 14 are free.
