Maple Leaf Tavern

955 Gerrard St E, Toronto, ON
mapleleaftavern.ca

“Classics are classics for a reason” said every caesar salad lover, ever. Maple Leaf Tavern makes one of the best in the city – and lucky you, it’s on their Summerlicious menu. Thick cut bacon, anchovy laced dressing and cold, crisp romaine hearts.

Montgomery’s

996 Queen St W, Toronto, ON
montgomerysrestaurant.com

Montgomery’s is a modern day Mom n’ Pops restaurant driven by local ingredients. Naturally, the crispy King Cole Duck with smoked mustard sauce and sour cabbage caught our duck loving eyes.

Hawthorne Food & Drink

60 Richmond St E, Toronto, ON
hawthorneto.ca

Meat lovers take note: the team at Hawthorne are serving a “Bloody Caesar Steak”. It’s a grilled flank steak from VG Meats topped with a warm salad made of classic caesar cocktail ingredients. Sounds delicious, eh?

Local Kitchen + Wine Bar

1710 Queen St W, Toronto, ON
localkitchen.ca

We’re big fans of quality, handmade pasta. We love it almost as much as we love fresh, spring peas. The folks at Local Kitchen in Parkdale have created a beautiful medley of the two with their Sweet Pea & Ricotta Tortelli with Guanciale and Fava Beans.

Marben

488 Wellington St W, Toronto, ON
marbenrestaurant.com

The crew at Marben know nothing says summer like a sun-warmed tomato. Pair that with housemade ricotta (plus tomato curd, chives, basil, pickled green tomatoes, green onion, and cold pressed rapeseed oil) and you’ve got a recipe for pure bliss!

Piano Piano

88 Harbord St, Toronto, ON
pianopianotherestaurant.com

We were distraught when one of our favorite pizzas in the city – The Bodega at Piano Piano – was taken off the menu. Imagine our glee when we heard this messy, delicious pie was back for three weeks only thanks to Summerlicious! It’s a beautiful sympathy of Fior di Latte, Mortadella, Soppressata, Sweet Onions, Sesame Seeds, Banana Peppers, Oregano, Malt Mayonaise, and Iceberg lettuce.

The Chef’s House

215 King St E, George Brown College, Toronto, ON
thechefshouse.com

This funky, student run restaurant aways delivers a meal – and a show. We’ve got our eyes on the Crispy Skin Ontario Trout with Smoked Pepper Hummus, Fingerling Potatoes, Grilled Green Onion, and Herb Pesto on the lunch menu.
