Come explore the amazing world of naturally fermented breads with us. We will spend 3 fun hours with our hands in the dough learning what makes bread great. This is our basic workshop in sourdough bread making the Prairie Boy way. We will learn about and make the following.
Sourdough starter. learn how a starter lives and how to keep mama happy.
Country White Dough. Learn to mix and fold our classic white loaf.
Shaping. shape your loaf of bread to prepare it for the oven.
We will also learn about the organic, ontario flours we use.
At the ned of the workshop you will take home, your loaf of bread, your dough, your sourdough starter, 2kg organic flour, and our simple bread making notes.
we provide all the tools and an apron. Please bring a hat and kitchen apropriate shoes and clothes, we will may get a bit messy.
Classes are 10 people max so that we can all get our hands in the dough.
Please note the events are NON-REFUNDABLE as we have very few spaces and lots of people waiting. Someone else can attend in your place if you can’t make it but we will not issue a refund or transfer it to another date so please make sure you pick a date that works for you.
