The George Brown College Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts is pleased to present Ruth Reichl for an In Conversation evening moderated by Ceri Marsh. Ruth Reichl spearheaded a revolution in the way we think about food. In her new book Save Me the Plums (Penguin Random House), for the first time, she chronicles the personal and professional risks she took during her tenure as the editor in chief of Gourmet magazine in this insightful, inspiring and very readable new memoir. Admission includes a free copy of Save Me the Plums signed by Ruth Reichl. The evening will conclude with a food and wine reception in the CHCA Grand Atrium.

About Ruth Reichl

Ruth Reichl is the bestselling author of the memoirs Garlic and SapphiresTender at the Bone, and Comfort Me with Apples and the novel Delicious! She was editor in chief of Gourmet magazine for ten years. She lives in upstate New York with her husband and two cats.

About Ceri Marsh

Ceri Marsh is a Toronto-based writer and editor, and she was the co-founder of Sweet Potato Chronicles, an online resource dedicated to healthy family food. She was the editor-in-chief at FASHION Magazine for eight years. Ceri is the co-author of How to Feed a Family and The School Year Survival Cookbook, as well as bestselling books The Fabulous Girl’s Guide to Decorum and The Fabulous Girl’s Guide to Grace Under Pressure.​
