This award recognizes an Ontario organization or business that delivers an exceptional, authentic consumer experience showcasing the best Ontario food and drink.


  • Awards are based on January - December 2019 activity. 
  • Nominations are open to any Ontario-based consumer facing experience that is not an event. You can find the Event of the Year application here.
  • Self Nomination is permitted.
  • Nomination of a third party is permitted. Third party nomination must be accepted by the nominee prior to submission of the nomination.
  • There is no cost to apply for the Ontario Culinary Tourism Awards.
  • By applying for this award, you agree to host a member of a judging panel at your event/experience. Costs associated with hosting are the responsibility of the applicant.
  • Finalists will be notified in September via email.


  • Please note, all promotions, trophies and press releases will use this name. Please ensure spelling is correct.
  • Include information on your region, growth, community and any numbers/stats you think would be relevant to your application.
  • How has your experience integrated local food & drinks producers, processors and growers into your tourism story? How are you contributing to a more viable local food system?
  • This is where you tell us about any communications and marketing endeavours your organization took to ensure future success.
  • Please submit 3 hi-res photos to support promotional efforts should you be chosen as a finalist. Photos will may be used to support the following: social media promotion, award ceremony presentation, media outreach and/or web design.
