This weekend, head on over to the Oxford Auditorium in Woodstock to get a taste of Ontario’s best cheeses and celebrate the newly relaunched Oxford County Cheese Trail!
Curd on the street is there’s a lot of interesting activities planned including an exploration of exotic cheeses, like paneer and our favorite not-quite-cheese-product cajeta — with Amarjit Singh of Local Dairy Products; as well as a cheese and beer pairing demo with Liz Payne of The Milky Whey Fine Cheese Shop in Stratford.
You’ll of course also get a chance to sample all manner of cheeses — from goat to sheep to cow’s milk varieties — from the area’s award winning cheese makers. Vendors include Stonetown Cheese, Mountain Oak Cheese, Gunn’s Hill Artisan Cheese, Great Lakes Goat Dairy, Bright Cheese, Local Diary, C’est Bon Cheese and more.
Also on the roster is Chef Eric Boyar and his kitchen team from Feast On Certified SixThirtyNine in Woodstock. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for us.
Tickets are $8 for Adults in advance and $10 at the door.
Children under the age of 12 are free when accompanied by an Adult.
