Wellington North invites you to Simply Explore an area that encompasses walking trails, cycling trails and a birding trail, all winding through quaint tranquil vistas you can discover on your own self-guided tour.
Of all these trails, it’s no surprise that The Butter Tart Trail is one of the most popular. Who doesnt like a rich, decadently-sinful butter tart? On this self-guided road tour, there are at least a dozen varieties youll come across. There are also other inventions you may encounter: doggy butter tart treats, dessert pottery trays, aprons and scents inspired by them. You may even chance upon a butter tart sundae, trifle or pie! Its an exploration of all things ?butter tart? in one variation or another.
New this year, The Butter Tart Trail launches a special Passport Promotion at the Mount Forest Fireworks Festival. Pick up your Passport at participating Trail stops the weekend of the festival and complete by September 30th for your chance to win great prizes from Trail participants.
Always the third weekend in July, the Mount Forest Fireworks Festival celebrates their 15th Anniversary this year! Ignite your summertime plans at one of Ontarios Top 100 Festivals and Events for eight years running.
