This past week, Burning Kiln Winery received some big accolades! AThey’re the winners of the 2014 Lieutenant Governors Award for Excellence in Ontario Wines.
The honour was given to celebrate their 2012 “Cab Frank” wine. Cab Frank — which is 100% Cabernet Franc — was named after the wineries vineyard manager, Frank Deleebeeck, whose tireless devotion to vineyard health and quality has been a big part of their success.
The Hon. David C.
