According to the folks at Oxford Fresh: Life is too short to not eat local — and we couldn’t agree more!
Now there’s a brand new way to explore the region – known as the Dairy Capital of Canada – and all it’s amazing cheese makers. With the launch of their new Oxford Fresh map, you can see all the best places to get local produce, meat, fish, dairy and more!
Along with the new maps, they’ve also revamped their brand and updated celebrated Cheese Trail.
Stops on The Cheese Trail include one of the longest standing dairies in the province: Bright Cheese & Butter, as well as Gunn’s Hill Artisan Cheese, Mountain Oak Cheese (can we get an round of applause for their nettle studded gouda please?!) and the Dairy Capital Cheese Shop to name a few. With over 15 experiences, including dairy barns visits, tours and of course, cheese tastings — there’s no better way to sink your teeth into the county’s most treasured product!
It’s never been so easy to support your local farmers in this province thanks to the amazing work groups like Oxford Fresh are doing.
