2019 Chowder Chowdown is bringing the heat!

Ocean Wise Chowder Chowdown is coming up fast, here in snow-swept Toronto, and Ontario chefs are preparing to bring unique flavours to heat-up the competition. Celebrating sustainable seafood and good ole fun, here’s the lowdown on the Chowdown.

Held at the Fermenting Cellar in the distillery district, the Chowdown is back on February 27, 2019, 7 pm – 10 pm. Top Ocean Wise chefs will compete head-to-head for the title of 2019 Ocean Wise Chowder Chowdown Champion in Toronto. We’re looking forward to tasting all the delectable original chowders that feature sustainably caught seafood, and then washing it down with Ontario craft beer and spirits.

All proceeds directly support the Ocean Wise sustainable seafood program, which helps to ensure ocean life will be abundant for generations to come.
