The 2013 Ontario Wine Awards recognized the best wines and winemakers of the year on May 10.
The event was hosted by celebrity chef Christine Cushing, and was attended by Kim Craitor, MPP for Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake and Fort Erie, who said a few words, and Chef Marc Lyons who cooked a five-course meal inspired by, and created with locally produced, grown and raised Ontario foods, with each course paired alongside a gold medal winning wine.
