OWS Wine Tour – PEC

By Agatha Podgorski

Date: June 2, 2012 7:00 am
Where: Prince Edward County

The Ontario Wine Society – Toronto

Proudly Presents

OUR ANNUAL BUS TRIP TO …

THE PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY (PEC) WINE REGION

They said ‘it could never be done’! When told 4 wineries were too many to visit in one day, last year we did 5 with no problem. Well, this year we will go for the record: 8 wineries in one day! Fortunately 3 will present themselves at one location & another 3 will all be in walking distance to each other.

Four years ago we had a superb lunch & tasting with a spectacular view at Huff winery. We HAD to return. In planning this trip, we found what is arguably the best winery in PEC & most assuredly amongst the top 5 in Ontario. (We will let those on the bus trip guess/vote). We will visit a number of well known wineries.  Still, most of the wineries will be a “FIRST VISIT” for the OWS annual bus trip where one can expect ‘finds’ of exceptional quality &/or price.

Last year our members once again voted with their pocket books!!! We spent over $8,000 on purchases during our bus trip last year to the Niagara Escarpment, including $3,200 at one winery alone!!.

For itinerary, flyer and paper registration form, visit the:  OWS website
