Sewing the Seeds of Sustainability

With the lack of a major winter blast here in Ontario, spring bulbs have been forcing their way up earlier–bringing with them the itch of greener thumbs.

It was exciting to hear about one of the many community Seedy Saturdays popping up around the province. In conjunction with the Seeds of Diversity, Seedy Saturdays are ways to preserve heirloom seeds and plants through seed saving and trading amongst local gardeners.
